Nordiska Kompaniet (NK), one of Sweden’s most well known retail brands and department stores, recently opened their e-commerce. Behind the project are NK, Avensia and Tydab. The digital platform with Microsoft Dynamics 365 as base is built to reflect the physical department stores’ customer experience and means a common trading place for NK’s traders.
“Creating an e-commerce site for our customers and gathering our departments and retailers under NK’s brand has been an important project for us. Tydab’s understanding of the complexity of our business has therefore been valuable to us during the project, ”says Henrik Andreasson, CEO of NK.
As experts on Microsoft Dynamics 365, Tydab has implemented NK’s business system in which NK handle logistics, customer service and payments, among other things. Together with integrations with Avensia Storefront and a number of other systems, we have created a modern and scalable digital marketplace where NK, their retailers and not least their customers can meet.
“Firstly, I would like to to thank for the opportunity to deliver a unique solution, together with Avensia. The launch of the e-commerce site is well timed, as the market is moving towards on-line sales. We look forward to continue supporting NK on their digital journey “, says Fredrik Stenlund, Tydab.
NK’s e-commerce launches with NK Sport and will expand continuously with more departments.
